North OCMD...What's in it for me?
Updated: Feb 2, 2020
Way back when I was in college and later, when my husband and I were dating, we searched for accomodations near the famous Ocean City, Maryland Boardwalk. Being near the restaurants, arcades, and beach were convenient and fun. However, being a country girl, I was sometimes annoyed by the crowds, the sounds of traffic at night, and the lights that inevitably shined into my room, keeping me awake (I don't sleep well when I travel... just an FYI).
Fast forward to eight years of married life, with the addition of a six year old daughter, and we now prefer staying in North Ocean City, Maryland. There's more space to spread your beach towel at Carousel 601 and I love how you can hear the sounds of the surf and seagulls with much less noise from people. There is so much to do in North Ocean City, that we only go to the Boardwalk twice in the during the week when we stay there.
See the map below of all of our favorite North OCMD places and leave a comment if you've been to any of these locations yourself and what you thought of them!
